By January all students 10-12 grade in Asheville City Schools will be working with a high powered Lenovo laptop. Studies show that the authentic incorporation of technology into the classroom increases student engagement and collaboration better preparing them for the workforce they will enter. The Mebane Charitable Foundation and the Appalachian Regional Council both provided $100,000 to complete this project.
