Across the spectrum, we support and engage families by promoting involvement, providing emergency assistance for families in crisis and extending learning for students beyond the school day.

Get Involved

Join our corps of volunteers who work in schools across the district.  Free trainings are available for any individual or group interested in acquiring the knowlege and skills needed to be an effective classroom or student support person.  Contact Jay Lively, jay@acsf.org to find out more.

Emergency Assistance

Emergency Assistance is available by school social worker referal only.  Please contact your school's social worker to inquire about this program.

After-School Initiatives

In order to help support students success the ACS Foundation is supporting out-of-school time initatives for students.  Currently we fund the Cougar Time program at Hall Fletcher Elementary, the K-2 After-School Program at Vance Elementary, and the IRL program for Asheville Middle School and Randolph Learning Center students.
